Thurmond Reunion

The Thurmond Reunion is held annually on the second Sunday in August, beginning at 1:00 pm at the National Park Services’ – Dun Glen Day Use Area near Thurmond.

The Thurmond Reunion Committee would like to invite friends and family members of folks who were born and raised in the Thurmond area to attend.  We will provide ham, turkey & chicken along with drinks and eating utensils and plates.  We suggest that you bring a covered dish to share with eight to ten persons who might be attending.  If you have never attended this event before and would like to have your name and address added to our mailing list, please email your information to thurmondwv@gmail.com. In the past we have been successful in getting the Thurmond Post Office and The Thurmond Bank opened for visitation, we will attempt to do the same this year for those who are interested.  Come and join us for some fun and fellowship with the old and new neighbors of Thurmond.
